Alleged Data Leak on the Office of the Vice President of the Philippines
An alleged data leak involving the Office of the Vice President (OVP) of the Philippines has surfaced on an underground cybercrime forum, with a threat actor identified as DeathNoteHackers claiming to have obtained approximately 10GB of documents associated with the OVP's scheduling platform.
The post, published under the forum's Leaks – Other Leaks section, is titled "Office of the Vice President [Scheduler] " and is accompanied by politically charged statements criticizing the Philippine government's spending priorities, budget allocations, and alleged irregularities in public infrastructure projects.
According to the threat actor's post, the purportedly compromised materials consist of 12,979 PDF files, with a total reported size of approximately 10GB. The actual files, their contents, and the legitimacy of the alleged data have not yet been independently verified.
The publication also appears to be associated with Million Mask March 2026, with the post carrying campaign-related tagging. This suggests a possible connection between the alleged leak and the broader activities or messaging surrounding the movement, although the precise nature of the relationship remains unclear.
DeathNoteHackers appears to be using the alleged exposure as a platform for political messaging, directing criticism toward government officials and questioning public expenditure and accountability.
