A threat actor using the alias "goodbyebrother" has claimed to have leaked the database of TechFactors Inc. on a dark web forum on February 4, 2025.
The post offers access to the stolen database, which contains a wide range of sensitive information, including:
1. Personal Information: User ID, student ID, email, role
2. Credentials: Passwords, Adobe email, Adobe password
3. Academic Details: Section ID, grade level, strand
4. System Information: SC ID, category, status, date created, active status
The leaked data could pose significant security risks, including identity theft, phishing attacks, and credential stuffing. The threat actor's forum profile indicates they joined in August 2024, had 31 posts and 21 threads, and gained a reputation score of 120.
TechFactors Inc. has yet to release an official statement regarding the breach.
